From the Congregation's early beginnings in the USA until today, Sisters of Christian Charity have ministered in Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas.
In October 2019 the Western Region Leadership Team traveled to Mendham, NJ. For the next 4 days they met with the Eastern Province Leadership Team. This meeting marked a milestone in both teams' efforts to create a deeper communion to become one North American Province.
Today the community is present in Chicago, New Jersey, New Orleans, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wilmette. As the times and needs of the Church change, so do the Sisters’ fields of labor expand to meet those needs. Their works are widely varied and include education, healthcare, social work and more.
The Congregation is now present in four continents – North and South America, Europe and Asia. In Pauline’s words, “It is a great grace that God should permit us to assist in the spread of his Kingdom.”

The work of Blessed Pauline is being carried out not only by her Sisters but also by her Companions of Pauline. These women and men embrace her vision and live in her spirit of prayer and loving, joyful service to others. They strive to deepen their living of Gospel values while remaining in their present life style. The Sisters and Companions of Pauline are spiritually united in fostering the Kingdom of God and being transformed into His image and likeness. Pauline’s life has been a beacon of light for many.
